Pink Martini was the brainchild of classically trained piano player Thomas M. Lauderdale and vocalist China Forbes; fusing a immense array of influences spanning Cuban jazz to music hall to cinema wads, the group honed an exotic sound which light-emitting diode to their 1997 debut LP, Sympathique. Britney Spears insists that she has no plans to be a pushy stage-mom when it comes to her boys.
